There are lots of ways you can get involved in the work of the Alex from helping raise money or volunteering, to having a say in how we run the hospital.

Fundraise or donate
Help us continue the vital work we do by fundraising or donating to the BSUH Charity or to the Rockinghorse charity.
We are lucky to be supported by two fantastic charities.

Volunteer
You can volunteer for us and help out by...
- Playing/reading/talking with the children on the ward
- Tidying the play areas
- Assisting children with washing hands and faces, and cleaning teeth at bedtime
- Assisting care staff with giving out drinks and meals
- Sitting with a child to give the carer a short break

Give us feedback
Whilst we no longer operate our children and young people board we continue to involve children and young people and their families as best we can through inviting feedback and responding to complaints and plaudits we receive.
