Learning disabilities

Everyone has the right to access healthcare services in a way that meets their needs. We offer a range of services to help you get the most from your appointment or stay in hospital.

Learning disabilities liaison team

Our learning disabilities liaison team helps us to provide care and treatment that meets your needs. This includes making any reasonable adjustments.

The team will also make sure you understand your care and treatment plan.

We can also offer you longer appointment times and encourage you to bring any tools that you use (e.g. communication boards).
