A new aerial video of the 3Ts Redevelopment’s Stage 1 Building is available now. The video shows the completed framework of the 11 storey building at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the hospital’s new helideck. The video can be watched on the Brighton and Sussex University Hospital’s Youtube channel
The completion of the framework marks an important landmark in the building’s construction. The focus of the construction programme is now on two areas of work, completing the outer facade of the building to make it weather tight and pushing on with getting the internal fixtures and fittings in place.
With the framework complete it is possible to see the building really taking shape. It is starting to look more like the computer generated images of the completed building.

The Stage 1 Building will open in 2021 and will be the new home for more than 30 wards and departments from across the Trust.
