We are committed to the development of our staff and have good facilities for training.
Our e-learning platform, iris, is the online hub for education and training at the Trust. It houses our mandatory training and other courses from medical education to IT training and leadership.
Our learning and development team provides ongoing training including:
- General skills training
- National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in health and associated subjects
- Leadership and management development
We also have numerous specialist subject training providers, including infection control, medical devices, health and safety, and gender and sexual diversity.
There is also department-specific training and non-clinical training undertaken. Within the clinical divisions, there are practice development teams and specialist clinical skills training courses.
