Repatriation Policy goes live

The updated Sussex Trauma Netowrk Repatriation Policy – version 4 – has gone live from 4th May 2021. The Policy can be view and downloaded from the Guidelines, Policies and Pathways page. All particating hospitals now have a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for repatriation. Contact details are in the policy document.

COVID-19 Pathways

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the normal Patient Pathways of the Trauma Network have been suspended and replaced by specific pathways for the pandemic as follows.  This is in line with a national directive that seeks to ensure that Major Trauma Centres remain able to accept major trauma patients, even though they may also have large numbers of COVID-19 patients.  …
