The Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit (BSCTU) has been established in order to provide practical support for clinical researchers in the South East and beyond.
BSCTU is a collaboration of the Universities of Sussex and Brighton, Brighton and Sussex University Hospital NHS Trust and the Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
The enthusiastic and friendly team can assist in the development of funding applications, trial design, study management, quality assurance, data analysis, trial close-down and dissemination.
Our purpose is to support clinical research across a range of disciplines which will contribute to the evidence base for the diagnosis, management and prevention of disease.
We aim to attract multi-centre, randomised controlled trials, but also other well-designed studies. The BSCTU is aiming to become accredited as part of the UK Clinical Research Collaboration CTU Network.
