Our staff achievement and recognition awards (STARS) are an opportunity to say a special thank you to a member of staff, volunteer, team or service you feel deserves to be singled out for particular praise.
Each of the award categories reflects the behaviours and values we see across the Trust every day and want to reinforce, including communication, kindness and understanding, fairness and transparency, working together and excellence.
A judging panel will consider all the nominations and the winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony later in the summer, generously supported by the BSUH Charity which receives many donations from patients and visitors seeking to thank staff for all the great care provided.
Has one of our staff, teams or volunteers provided you with exceptional care or gone the extra mile to improve your experience? Has someone shone in reflecting our Trust values and ultimate aim of putting you, the patient, first? Please nominate them for an award. It’s a great way to say thank you and help our staff to feel valued. Please include as much detail as you can and examples to help the panel to award a high score.
