Our libraries have expanded their collection of books on health and wellbeing, thanks to a donation of titles from the Jubilee Library in Brighton as part of the Reading Well project.
The collection covers a wide range of topics including anxiety, grief, body image, stress and self-harm. As well as books for adults, there is a range of titles aimed at children and young people. Do drop in our libraries to see our collection. You can borrow titles of your choice, or sit and look through them in our easy chairs.
The Library at the Princess Royal Hospital has set aside a small section displaying all the titles. Staff in our other libraries will be happy to help you find the titles in these libraries.
We hope that you will find some useful material to help yourself, your family or your patients.
You can find out more about the Reading Well project here.
Your local public library will also stock a range of books to support your health and wellbeing, just ask your friendly local librarians or search the web for information.
More support is available for staff working at University Hospitals Sussex on their Wellbeing webpages.
