In October last year, RSCH and PRH libraries took a leaf out of St. Richards Hospital library’s books and set up a seed swap display in aid of the BSUH Charity after the Trust merger.
Danni Mariner, a library assistant at Dunhill Library, St. Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, originally set up a seed swap there and approached both libraries after the merger to see if they would be interested in setting up their own seed swaps.
Library users can either swap seeds of their own for some on display, or make a donation to the BSUH charity and help themselves from an assortment of flower, herb and vegetable seeds.
Since then, both libraries have raised nearly £90 between them for the BSUH Charity.
