iris Updates – STAM Chat Support and more

STAM Chat Support

Helping you get your Statutory and Mandatory training done is one of our top priorities. In order to reduce the time it takes to get support, we have set up a Teams Chat Support link for you to get direct assistance.

At the moment, the function is available on all Basic Life Support and Moving & Handling – Clinical courses with the plan to expand to all STAM courses over the coming months. If you would like us to set this up on your course, or advice on how to include social media in your course pages arrange a kick-off meeting with us.

Course Review Process

The iris platform has grown considerably over the six years it has been online. Throughout this time, it has also changed considerably in terms of appearance and functionality. As part of our updates to the platform, we are currently reviewing all course pages. Our aim is to determine which pages need to be updated to fit the platform’s latest standards.

As such, we will be contacting registered Subject Matter Experts and course administrators to update their pages over the next few months. If your course needs updating or you wish for it to be retired, please contact Yannis at ioannis.vatis@nhs.net.

Twitter New Course Announcements

New courses are going live on iris on a regular basis. To help everyone  keep informed about the latest courses opening up on iris, we have started making New Course announcements on our Twitter account. These will be cross posted on workplace and other channels automatically. Don’t forget to connect with us for advice on how to promote your course and the easiest way of getting learners onto a course page.

These announcements will have short descriptions of what the course is about as well as direct links to enroll on them. Here are some of the latest courses that have gone live:
