Opening times
We aim to keep all our libraries open during the current lockdown but are operating with reduced opening hours and staffing levels on all sites. Below are our staffed hours over the next few weeks.

Keeping safe in our libraries
A surgical face mask is required to be worn at all times in our RSCH and PRH libraries.
Please ensure a 2m distance from colleagues in all our libraries. We regret a maximum of just six people will be allowed to work or study at Mill View Library at any one time due to social distancing guidance. Contact us for advice or to reserve a pc ahead.

Sanitization measures
We’re taking extra measures to protect our staff and library users, such as wiping all door handles, computers, phones and self-issue kiosks with clinical wipes on a regular basis. Wipes are also available for you to wipe down PCs and desk areas after you have used them. Hand sanitisers are in the public areas of all our libraries.
All our returned books are being quarantining for three days and wiped them down before re-shelving. This may cause slight delays before books are available so thank you for your patience.
Extended loan periods
The loan period for all items is still eight weeks. You will be contacted if your book is needed by another member; otherwise you can renew online as many times as needed. See instructions here: www.bsuh.nhs.uk/library/accessing-information/ (under Guide to Your Online Library Account).
