Due to the COVID-19 situation, many of our staff are working from home. They are still able to deal with your enquiries or requests for evidence searches and can help you access online resources. Most of our scheduled information skills teaching will go ahead but you may be offered it remotely via Zoom or other software.
Books can still be borrowed and returned via the Self-Service Kiosk in all libraries with a library membership card.
Measures to help our library members:
Extended loan period
We have extended the loan period for all items to 8 weeks. We will contact you if your book has been requested by another member; otherwise you can renew your items online as many times as you need to. Instructions on how to renew online are here under Guide to Your Online Library Account.
Free printing and photocopying
Printing and photocopying charges in the RSCH and PRH libraries have been suspended for now; see detailed instructions in each library on how to do this.
We are practicing social distancing in our libraries – sit apart if using our PCs and please keep your distance from our Enquiry Desks. Study rooms are no longer bookable. Extra hygiene measures are in place.
Remember you can access our range of information tools and resources on your laptop or ipad from home by registering for an OpenAthens password.

We plan to keep our libraries open while we can but are operating with reduced staffing levels on all sites. Below are our scheduled staffing hours over the next few weeks.
