Open Access Week: DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals)

https://doaj.org/

The Directory of Open Access Journals is a free, independent, community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. The Directory aims to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access journals, promoting their visibility, usage and impact.

DOAJ does not index all open access journals. To be included in the Directory a journal must exercise peer-review with an editor and an editorial board or editorial review carried out by at least two editors. As of January 2019, DOAJ listed 12,582 journals.

DOAJ also operates an education and outreach program across the globe, focussing on improving the quality of journals submitted to be indexed.
