Celebrating the history of the Royal Sussex County Hospital

The Crucible: A History of Royal Sussex County Hospital is showcasing an exhibition of archival materials that review the history of the hospital from the 19th century to the present day.

The exhibition brings together photographs, drawings, letters, oral histories and new artworks from across the hospital’s almost 200-year history. It celebrates the impact the hospital has had on workers, patients and the community, and will be a unique opportunity to see these artefacts before they are archived at The Keep.

The exhibition is being held at the Jubilee Library, Jubilee Street, Brighton from 5th – 21st September.
