Spotlight on: BMJ Best Practice

This popular clinical decision support tool has been made available to all NHS staff in England in collaboration with Health Education England.

Updated daily, BMJ Best Practice draws on the latest evidence-based research, guidelines and expert opinion to offer step-by-step guidance on diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and prevention.

Content includes treatment tables and algorithms, videos of clinical procedures, medical calculators, patient information leaflets and the latest evidence from Cochrane Clinical Answers.

You can access BMJ Best Practice with an NHS OpenAthens username and password. Alternatively, setting up a personal account will enable you to download the app and get CME/CPD certificates for time spent on BMJ Best Practice.

The BMJ Best Practice app is available from Apple or Google Play store and can be used offline. Instructions are available here: https://bestpractice.bmj.com/info/app/
