New course for teachers, educators and facilitators!

The Library & Knowledge Service Learning Technologists are introducing a three part series looking at using technologies before, during and after a face-to-face teaching session.

Thenew course course is suitable for anyone who teaches staff, trainees or students and aims to enhance teaching using learning technologies.

Each session lasts only 90 minutes and is stand-alone but would be complemented by the other sessions.

Session 1: Flipped classroom: getting ready to learn – introduces and identifies advantages and challenges to this approach.

Session 2: Active learning: getting engagement in the classroom – identifies strategies for engaging learners and how to apply them to your teaching

Session 3: After the classroom: maximise the learning – identifies strategies for learners to reflect on their learning and creates resources for this.
