We’re delighed to welcome a brand new role to our team. Here is Cecilia Bethencourt-Dunning to tell you more.
“As Patient Information Specialist librarian, I’ll be looking at ways to support the Trust in providing good information to patients and the public. As it’s a completely new role, part of the challenge will be working out what to do as I go along, which I’m sure will be very rewarding!
My background is in public libraries- I worked for 9 years for Kensington & Chelsea library service, which during that period became a tri-borough service with Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster. I held a variety of posts, from reference librarian to website and social media officer.
This is the first time I have worked for an NHS Trust so I’m still finding my bearings. However, the staff I have met have been very friendly and helpful and I’m enjoying getting to know my new colleagues”.
