My role as Senior Library Assistant involves working on the enquiry desk, sorting out books and overdues and journal requests. As I’m new I’m still learning my way around but so far I’m enjoying it.
Previously, I worked in Medical Records here at BSUH for three years, my first step into the NHS. I also worked for the BBC, researching Dr Who and Dad’s Army programmes plus the six o’clock news and Parkinson. After leaving the BBC I went to work for Fremantlemedia, who make those reality shows like Pop Idol, Britain’s Got Talent and The Apprentice. I managed to meet Bill Bailey and hold a golden eagle, all on the same day….I wonder what awaits me here.
