DownloadAt discharge we will provide you with 2 weeks supply to meet your current stoma care needs. At your first home visit we will normally review your ongoing stoma care prescription requirements. Your GP will then be informed of these.
All stoma care products need to be prescribed and can be obtained with a prescription from either a Home Delivery Company or your local pharmacy.
We communicate with your GP to ensure that you have the correct products for your stoma care. Your prescription may require review at times as your needs may change. New stoma care products can only be prescribed following a clinical review and communication with your GP practice.
These can be obtained from: Level 9a, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton Via the Level 9a Coordinator on: 01273 696955, bleep 68469.
Or at: Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath Hurstpierpoint Ward (the cupboard outside), 1st Floor, bleep 66014. Please ensure you call first so that appropriate stoma products can be gathered for you.
