BSUH staff have been working hard to bring a touch of Christmas to wards right across the Trust, especially for those patients who aren’t able to be at home at this time.
Interim Chief Nurse Helen O’Dell has been out and about meeting with teams who have keenly entered the Christmas Decorations Competition. She has been blown away by the lengths that staff have gone to.
“What’s come across really strongly is the impact that staff’s efforts are making for patients over the Christmas period, particularly for those who aren’t able to be at home.
“The way the wards and department areas have been decorated has really brought the magic of Christmas to those who may otherwise have missed out.”
