Brighton-based sixth form college BHASVIC hosted a careers event where Trust representatives from a variety of disciplines spoke to students interested in working in healthcare as their future career.

BHASVIC has around 2,000 students aged 16-18 and the event was a great opportunity for BSUH to promote the Trust’s professions and opportunities for employment and apprentices.

The Trust has many staff who engage with young people through providing work experience programmes, going into schools and colleges to talk to students and by taking part in careers events.

The Directorate of Education and Knowledge plays a key role in promoting and supporting the diverse hospital career opportunities to the local community and in encouraging students to learn at the Trust.
