Our Library & Knowledge Service had a stand at the Brighton & Hove CCG sponsored locum GP event on 22 May 2019, providing learning and support to this vital sector of primary care workforce.
Kevin, our Primary Care Specialist Librarian, created the display and was there to demonstrate ways to access information and up to date evidence. Meanwhile, the conference attendees at the Amex were engaged in sessions on medicines management and encouraging self care, finance, resilience and local pathways.
Amongst other innovations being worked on locally, Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust and Sussex Community Foundation Trust highlighted their Fellowship Programme which enables portfolio working. There was also debate and discussion on pressing matters in primary care around prescribing and the future of general practice.
