Service resumed at Mill View Library

The Mill View Library in Hove is now staffed on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9.30am – 5.30pm, though library members can access it Monday – Friday. A maximum of six people will be allowed to work or study at any one time due to social distancing guidance.

The library will be closed again from 12 April to 10 May to allow the second dose of vaccinations to continue at the Sussex Education Centre. We expect to reopen on Tuesday 11 May but will advise if this changes.

Below are our current staffed hours. These are subject to change at short notice so you are advised to ring ahead of your visit if you need to speak to staff.

Keeping safe in our libraries

A surgical face mask must be worn at all times. Please ensure you maintain a 2m distance from other library users and staff.

Please read our COVID-19 Charter before visiting our libraries.

Sanitization measures

We’re taking extra measures to protect our staff and library users, such as wiping all door handles, computers, phones and self-issue kiosks with clinical wipes on a regular basis. Wipes are also available for you to wipe down PCs and desk areas after you have used them. Hand sanitisers are in the public areas of all our libraries.
