Need a journal article quickly? The chances are that you already have access to the journal with your OpenAthens password. The LKS now subscribes to around 1,145 electronic journals covering all specialties across the local health economy.
The LKS strives to keep the collection as relevant as possible to its users. To do this we regularly monitor usage whilst trying to juggle requests for purchase from users and a finite budget!
All our journals can be found by using the NICE Journals A-Z Search (follow the “Journals” link on our Home Page).
You need an OpenAthens password to see our full collection. If you don’t already have one, make it your New Year’s resolution to register for one here. It takes only five minutes, and if you are using an NHS pc or have an NHS email, you’ll receive an activation code straight away. You’ll then be able to log in and explore the collection, from wherever you are (an absolute blessing if you’re working at home).
