Face to Face antenatal classes
Face to face classes run at both the Princess Royal Hospital and The Royal Sussex County Hospital. These classes are free and are for everyone who is booked to have a baby at either of these two hospitals. To secure a place please use the link in your Badgernotes under you care plan at 28 weeks. When you have booked via Eventbrite you will receive confirmation of your place on the course.
You are welcome to bring a partner or supporter to these classes. Classes should be attended in order of 1, 2 and 3.
Labour and Birth classes: Part 1 and Part 2 – run on Saturdays. They consist of a 3 hour morning, followed by a 3 hour afternoon session. They can be booked for the same day or separate days, as you prefer.
Infant Feeding classes: Part 3 – run on Sundays. They consist of a 3 hour morning session.
Virtual antenatal classes
For families who prefer a virtual class. You will be sent an Eventbrite link via your Badgernotes app when you are 28 weeks pregnant. These will be run the second and fourth Mondays of the month (please note: online classes will be via Microsoft Teams).
We also offer low cost Waterbirth and Homebirth classes online.
