Welcome to our new Knowledge Management Librarian.

We’re delighted to announce that Clare Thornally is our Knowledge Management Librarian. Many of you will already know Clare from her previous role, but here’s a little more from Clare in her own words:

“Hello! I am happy to be moving into the post of Knowledge Management Librarian after joining the team as an Assistant Librarian in 2021. I will be supporting the ongoing development of KnowledgeShare, which is used across the NHS to facilitate core evidence services, and providing training and support to its large and growing number of subscribers throughout the UK.

“I have already met some of you through teaching and literature searching, and if you are an AHP or HCA at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, we are likely to be in touch via evidence updates. I have a long affiliation with the NHS, my career having begun in nursing, so I am aware of the pressures facing clinicians and the burdens of staying current with research.

“I am very happy to help, particularly those seeking evidence updates, so please do not be shy about getting in touch.”
