We’re delighted to welcome Tom Ward to our TEL team. Tom is stepping into Yannis Vatis’ old role, following Yannis’ appointment as Senior Learning Technologist for the UHSussex TEL team in October.
Tom comes from a digital learning background, as you can see from his introduction below:
“Hello! I’m Tom and I have recently joined the Technology Enhanced Learning team as a Learning Technologist. The purpose of my role is to collaborate with educators to create digital learning solutions, support with the development of iris and to pioneer the adoption of emerging learning technologies.
“Prior to this role I worked within health and social care in the third sector as a Learning and Development Coordinator with a focus on digital learning, having also worked in a variety of other professional settings.
“In my personal time I enjoy cooking, reading and making the most of the beautiful nature in Sussex. Feel free to reach out if I can be of any assistance.”
