We’re very pleased to welcome Qayum, who will be joining Iain’s TEL and iris team. You can learn more about Qayum and his role below:
“I’m Qayum, a new learning technologist who has recently joined the Trust. I am responsible for the daily support, maintenance, course setup and advice around iris and associated learning technologies across the Trust. Within my role I aim to empower educators to get the best use out of iris for educational purposes, along with creating engaging content that best suits our subject areas and content for our learners.
Prior to joining the trust I have had multifaceted positions in higher education and commercial environments as an instructional designer and e-learning specialist, content development editor, learning technologist and online course developer. My area of expertise is in content development and learning design for fully online and blended degree programme where I hope to bring some of my experience to our courses in the Trust.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking trips to Camden and East London to explore the area’s quirky street art.”
