DownloadThis is a brief guide to the most important information you need on admission to TMBU.
A more comprehensive booklet Welcome to TMBU is available to view online.
Parents and Siblings can visit at any time.
Other Visitors: Visiting is from 1pm to 3pm and 5pm to 7.30pm. Visitors must be accompanied by at least 1 parent / carer and maximum 3 people at the cot side. Children under 16yrs old (except siblings) may not visit or enter TMBU.
Everyone must remove all bracelets / watches and rings with stones before entering the nursery. Sleeves must be rolled up and hands washed every time on entering and leaving the nursery.
There is a sitting area to your right as you enter the unit. Please be considerate about the number of visitors you bring as this area can become very busy at times. There is also a kitchen for parents / carers to use to prepare food and drink. Hot drinks must be consumed in the sitting area only. There is also a bathroom for parents and visitors.
Parents may ring anytime for updates on their baby’s condition. Relatives will not be given any information over the phone and should gain information directly from the parents.
