A significant portfolio of 108 new photographs inspired by the spirit of Sussex commissioned for the waiting rooms for the new 3Ts Redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital is now available to view online.

These new images, which explore the gardens and wildernesses of Sussex, the landscapes of the South Downs, the Sussex coastline, and the sense of place within homes across Brighton have been created by leading photographers Helen Sear, Celine Marchbank, Zoe Childerley and Murray Ballard.
‘Celebrating the 1st May, Hollingbury Hillfort’ by Murray Ballard, part of the South Downs Portfolio for the Connect Waiting Room Project.
Commissioned as part of a partnership between Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, Photoworks and Willis Newson, the works will be on permanent display in the new hospital when it opens. Sited across 36 hospital waiting rooms, they will be a source of contemplation and pleasure during times of potential stress for patients, visitors and staff.
