Peacehaven Community School poetry, celebrating NHS staff

πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™ July marked the 73rd birthday of the NHS. So pupils at Peacehaven Community School wrote these beautiful poems to thank staff for their hard work this year and beyond. πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

We have shared the poetry with teams across our four hospitals, who were truly touched by such kind words.

We think Gracie really captured the national feeling of admiration for all NHS staff in her poem ‘Hope’:

The days are long

The nights are longer

But you’re always there

Helping others get stronger

A place where we have to cope with a ray of hope

A place you share and provide so much care

You work day and night to make lives shine bright

Thank you so much to all the pupils and staff who took the time to send these in – and such gorgeous designs too.
