In this unprecedented year of COVID, with our BSUH NHS teams working tirelessly, we are launching our 2020 Spread Christmas Smiles Campaign and we need your help to raise £5000.
We want to bring Christmas to patients and staff who will be in our four hospitals on 25th December. Every patient will receive a mince pie, and all of our dedicated NHS staff, either a free lunch or a treat.
Please help us deliver a much-needed boost to spirits. Get into the festive mood and invite your friends, family and colleagues to join you throughout December to have some socially distanced fun and make a difference for BSUH patients and staff.
How to Spread Christmas Smiles
- 1 December Giving Tuesday – Take part in this international event by donating directly to our charity here.
- 10 December Virtual Quiz Night – It’s our inaugural Quiz with prizes! Challenge your friends and colleagues to find out who is the King or Queen of trivia. The cost is just £5. It’s going to be Quiztastic, so sign up here!
- Give e-cards – Send your festive greetings online, and make a donation to BSUH Charity, with the money you’ve saved on cards and stamps. Choose your cards and personalise here.
- My Santa Run – Ho Ho Go! – Get into the festive spirit and run 5km anytime and anywhere in December. Dressing up as Santa is optional! Sign up now and fundraise for BSUH Charity.
Christmas Jumper Day 2019
Christmas Jumper Day: 18 December
Get ready to strut your stuff in your festive finery, which includes socks and accessories! Invite colleagues, friends or family to join the fun.
Take a photo of an online meeting, pose for a socially distanced picture, or create a “working from home” Christmas jumper collage. Tag us on social media @bsuhcharity.
We recommend a minimum donation of £2 from everyone taking part, and we’ve made it easy to give. Text GIVEASMILE 2 to 70085 to donate £2 (change 2 to 5 or 10 to give even more!).
There are so many ways you can get involved to help Spread Christmas Smiles across the Princess Royal Hospital, Alexandra Children’s Hospital, Royal Sussex County Hospital, and Sussex Eye Hospital. We can’t wait to hear some of your ideas for festive fundraising, and we appreciate all of your support.
