Local hospital charity campaign launched to support NHS staff during coronavirus

In response to the huge public appreciation for staff at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH)   , BSUH Charity has launched a campaign to help the community support NHS staff welfare during the coronavirus crisis.

Healthcare workers have come under increasing pressure as they deal with the pandemic. The ‘Help BSUH Hospitals’ campaign gives the community a way to express their gratitude for the dedication and kindness of staff at our four hospitals.

Alan McCarthy, Chair of the Board of Trustees said:

“We have established this campaign to help support our wonderful hospital staff during these challenging times. These are the people on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus in Brighton and Haywards Heath.

“It is clear that many in our community want to do something to show their support for the NHS heroes who are going above and beyond for us all. Thank you in advance to everyone for their kindness and support as we look to give a bit more help to those that are helping us.”

You can donate today and help us make a difference where it is needed at The Royal Sussex County, Princess Alexandra Children’s Hospital, Sussex Eye Hospital and in Haywards Heath at The Princess Royal Hospital.
