Hurrah for our Brighton Half fundraisers!

With a little under a month to go to the Brighton Half Marathon on 23 February, it’s time to take a look at the fabulous folk who are in training for the challenge.

They are all running the race to help improve the experience of BSUH patients.

Liam and Ben

Liam and Ben are fundraising to give back to staff at the Royal Sussex County Hospital after seeing the fantastic level of care given by the ICU & Neuro teams there.

The pair write on their JustGiving page that, “we saw first-hand the attention and care that was provided.”

Father and son

We are delighted to have a father and son team running the Brighton Half to raise funds for TMBU.

Their joint challenge marks around 30 years since the son was a small patient at the Brighton neonatal unit.

Find out more about this family affair  and how to support them.

The running nurse

Last, but not least, there’s BSUH nurse Karina.

She is fundraising for kit that will help with the rehab of patients who have suffered head & spinal injuries.

These patients  are cared for at Level 8a West at The Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Thank you to all of them, and thanks too to everyone supporting them with their training and fundraising.  You really make a difference,
