This searchable collection of patient information leaflets about medical conditions and hospital procedures has been written specifically for patients and carers and is currently in use by healthcare staff at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

  • PatientUK - comprehensive, free, up-to-date health information as provided by GPs to patients during consultations.
  • Patient and Public Experience - NHS site designed to help people working with patients and carers.
  • The Patients Association - a UK website including support groups, campaigns, a helpline and publications.
  • The Royal College of Surgeons of England - answers to questions on surgeons, operations and types of surgery.
  • Surgerydoor - UK site on topics like immunisation, healthy living, the NHS and complementary medicine.
