Age Equality

Within the current legal frame work, age discrimination applies to areas of employment and vocational training. This means that employers are no longer allowed to discriminate, victimise or harrass employees on the basis of age.

Future developments

With the implementation of the Equality Bill, legislative powers are going beyond employment and vocational training to include prevention of discrimination of goods, facilities and services.
