The Tissue Viability Service deal with assessing and advising on all complex and non complex wounds, including helping patients who suffer from chronic wound conditions.

They also provide guidance and education on wound care and pressure damage prevention and advise with senior trust nurses on developing policy and strategies for best nursing practice.

Tissue Viability Services are run from both the Princess Royal Hospital and Royal Sussex County Hospital.
