Overview of service provided
The renal technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the dialysis equipment within BSUH NHS Trust.
This equipment is spread throughout 3 hospital sites at RSCH, Bexhill and Worthing and approx. 36 home dialysis patient sites and includes more than 150 dialysis machines and all of the associated water treatment equipment.
We work from 7.30am to 4.00pm on Monday to Friday but should we be needed in an emergency, we have an on-call system that gives 24hour cover every day of the year.
We give technical support and training to both staff and patients on all renal sites.
