The clinical site management team are responsible for arranging the allocation to wards for all emergency and planned admissions. Clinical site management services are run from both the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) and the Princess Royal Hospital (PRH).

The clinical site manager (CSM) is the most senior nurse on duty out of hours and is the bleep filter to the on call duty manager and senior manager.

The CSM fulfills the critical care outreach role from 8.00pm - 8.00am.
