Audiology is the healthcare science of hearing and balance disorders, the primary aim of which is to help people overcome the barriers placed in their way as a consequence of hearing or balance problems.

The Audiology Department provides a full range of hearing and balance services. Audiology clinics are available at Royal Sussex County Hospital, County Oak Medical Centre, Mile Oak Medical Centre, Princess Royal Hospital and Lewes Victoria Hospital.
