Brief Overview

The A&E department see and treat emergency cases. Servies are run from both the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath and the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Urgent Care Centre patients are seen by an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or GP.

A&E sub-departments:

Zone 1 - Resus

Zone 2 - Majors

Zone 3 - Minors

Urgent Care Centre - Minor injuries
