Since joining BSUH in July 2007, I have been sending out a weekly note on a Friday to all 7500 of our staff, the media, MPs and others as a way of communicating personally about the life and times of our hospitals, when things go well and, as importantly, when they have not. Read chronologically, they also serve as a narrative of our development as a young teaching hospital.
