The Sussex Cancer Centre is based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and is the hub of the Sussex Cancer Network, covering cancer services from Rye to Worthing and Brighton to East Grinstead.
The Sussex Cancer Centre currently provides radiotherapy and complex chemotherapy to patients across the Network area. Demand for cancer services is increasing and greater capacity is needed to meet this over the next decade.
The expansion of the Sussex Cancer Centre will include the development of a new Chemotherapy Day Unit, increasing the radiotherapy service and doubling the number of beds on the Oncology Ward.
