3Ts Hospital Redevelopment

Get involved

We are always interested to hear what people think about our redevelopment plans. So whether you are a patient, local resident or visitor, we would like to hear your views.

Patients, visitors and carers can apply to take part in the Patient & Public Design Panel, see information below.

Keep looking at this website to watch our progress and for latest opportunities for public involvement. In the meantime please do contact us with your comments and questions.

Patient & Public Design Panel

Members of the group will be encouraged to offer their own unique patient or carer perspective during the design process.  In addition, members will assist in reviewing plans, informing clinicians about issues raised, working closely with the architects and the hospital redevelopment team, and reporting back to other patients and patient groups where necessary.

We will pay out-of-pocket expenses and are investigating ways of rewarding people for their time. 3Ts is committed to using accessible venues and providing adjustments so that people with disabilities can participate, such as hearing loops.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have lived in the area they wish to represent for at least 12 months

  • Are aged 18 or over

  • Are interested in building design and/or layout of healthcare services

  • Have been a patient (or patient’s relative or carer) at the Royal Sussex County or Princess Royal Hospital in the past 12 months.

If you are interested in applying to join the panel please click here to complete the application form and email or post to:
